NFL legends to announce second-round draft picks

The draft will go on regardless of whether or not there's an NFL season next year, and a little bit of fun has been added to the already exciting draft day.
According to WEEI, NFL legends from every organization will announce the second-round draft picks for their respective team.
Who will be present to announce picks No. 33 and 60 for the Patriots?
None other than Pro Football Hall of Famer Andre Tippett.
Tippett was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008 and is arguably the best defensive player in New England history.
Others who are slated to participate include Buffalo's Andre Reed, Chicago's Richard Dent, Detroit's Barry Sanders, Pittsburgh's Franco Harris and Washington's Doug Williams.

UMass has Robert Kraft to thank
As you probably know by now, the UMass football program is moving up a division and will play their games at Gillette Stadium.
According to ESPNBoston and the Boston Globe, Patriot's owner Robert Kraft played a big role in making that happen.
"When University of Massachusetts administrators asked Kraft for help in their quest to elevate the program from the FCS to the FBS level, Kraft not only helped, he made the biggest donation any backer could: He gave them Gillette Stadium rent-free. For the foreseeable future."
Replacing Tom Brady
We've discussed it before but let's bring it up again. Is it time to find Tom Brady's replacement?
It's an interesting scenario, especially with the Patriots drawing a ton of attention with visits from Washington's Jake Locker and Arkansas' Ryan Mallett.
But is now the right time to do it? The draft is just a week away so pretty soon we'll know what the Patriots are thinking.
According to the Boston Herald, replacing a Hall of Fame quarterback is a tricky situation.
The situation has perplexed franchises for years. How a team replaces a Hall of Fame quarterback can lead it to fortune or futility.
It worked for the 49ers moving from Joe Montana to Steve Young. It worked for the Packers going from Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers. Both franchises traded one Super Bowl winner for another.
Yet, the Broncos are still searching for the next John Elway. The Dolphins are still searching for the next Dan Marino.
The Patriots are pretty lucky in this draft. They have enough picks to draft a quarterback and they have Tom Brady to develop him. Now's as good a time as any to plan for life with Brady.
